    Editing/Moving Added Text

Yes, that was what I was referring to and I'm using a Mac. I have been able to do as you suggest - which I am sure I tried before but ... it is real picky about where the cursor has to be to see the 4-headed arrow. Once I can get it to show it works. I also discovered that it will move the text block right if I grab with the double-headed left-right arrow showing - but won't move left. Similarly the up-down arrow will allow downward movement but not upward. I can live with it but something is not quite right. I also can't find a way to get rid of unwanted text boxes. I can delete all the text but the box hangs around. I tried to select it and delete but any text boxes I add won't select.

    Quit Option not active

Yes Heidi - it is the only program where I am experiencing this.

    Quit Option not active

I tried to restart my Mac today and was told that pdfelement was preventing shutdown. Switched to the app (no windows but the menu bar activated) and tried to select the Quit option but it is greyed out. Only way to stop the app si to use force quit.

    Editing/Moving Added Text

I can add a new text area to a PDF but can find no way to select the box once added. As a result I cannot modify the text in the box or even move it to improve the positioning of the text. There has to be a way to do this but I se nothing in the docs and cannot work out how to do it.
