  1. Have bought the 6.8 version, still a disaster! The OCR recognition of words and text is great, no doubts. But the picture and formula recognition is absolutely poor and still ful of bugs. The pictures, while recognizing with OCR, will be slices into separate pieces. Those cannot be handled at all with sense! Some not so big pdf-documents cannot pass the OCR, the software hangs up (forever) and needs to be restarted. The final docx or pptx documents show these sliced and separated pictures, sometimes the pics are patched and pieces are missing or mislocated. Then: there is no way to pre-define non-OCR contents like formulas and pictures that should not be converted by OCR. The way to convert formula into accessible terms is rather complicated. One can see that his software, as most of the others, is not able to do it correctly. Have a look on the old Japanese Infty reader - that is the only software that can do formula trans coding with high degree of acceptance. For PDF-Element the promises were great but the reality is much behind it.
