Unable to create individual text boxes

I meant to add that you can close the file with the letters as individual text boxes, but when you open it again, the boxes link together.

Unable to create individual text boxes

Each of the letters were created as individual text boxes. Sometimes as many as four letters will be grouped, That creates a pain when editing because the letters cluster. donna_112619.pdf
  3. I have single letters that go into areas of a word puzzle. I create individual text boxes for each letter, but they don't all remain individual text boxes. Some will group together into one text box, and then they will clump together when I need to change the letters, completely messing up the layout. I am using the latest version of PDFElement Pro, 7.3.0.4571.

    Individual Text Boxes

How do I create text boxes that do not automatically group together? For instance, I have single letters going into a puzzle and even though I create individual text boxes for them, some of them will group together, making changing out the letters ridiculous because they will clump together. Thanks, and sorry if this is a common question. No matter how I phrased it, I kept getting the same cluster of responses that didn't address this particular problem.

    Form Field Text Properties

I see the error of my ways. I needed to turn off "Highlight Fields".

    Form Field Text Properties

Sorry if this is a common question. I've done numerous searches and come up with zilch. Can the background color of a form text field be changed? I thought that going into the Form Field Text Properties Borders and Colors Fill Color would do the trick, but the text field remains blue. The property box is not locked. Am I attempting to do something that's impossible?
