  1. Since last update opening certain files will freeze the window. The only way to get out is the task manager. This thing brings me nuts when I am in a hurry to open a file. Any other action on the PDF Element window is not working. I can only scroll the pages. See the attached image. The second bug, when I use in Chrome print PDF with PDF Element and PDF Element is not open it is just open the PDF Element but not create the PDF file. Have to print the file again and then it is working. Annoying bug.

  3. Second bug with printing: I can't reproduce it anymore. The only idea I have it is the Windows update done last night or the printer not being PDF Element by default. When this happens the PDF element wasn't my default printer. I have put PDF Element as my default printer and it is opening the Ctrl+P command on Chrome and open the PDF Element. Everything looks fine now. I have no idea how this has been fixed but now it's working fine.
  4. First bug: It looks like it is fixed by itself. It can be my computer being very slow in some cases or just the Windows update done last night. For now, it is not doing it.
  5. This makes PDF Element not usable. Please fix it ASAP!!!

    Not that hard Heidi. Before update check, if PDF Element is set up as default. Set the answer yes/no in a registry value. After the update is finished read this registry entry: if yes, then make PDF file association. If no, do nothing. If automatic things are not working then ask for it in a popup, right after update: Do you want to keep PDF Element as default for PDF files? Not more than that.

    Thank for your answer. However, I never install it on more than one computer. I have changed my hard drive and reinstall Windows. Maybe this is the problem. Thanks.

    Sure you can change it back every time but it should keep the settings after the update is finished.

    Update problem

    Hello, Just to report this behavior: During the last update from 6.6.2 to 6.6.3, I have closed (by mistake) the PDF Element during the file downloading. When I reopen PDF Element, the download continues from where left but, at the end of the file downloading, I got an error message and the update wasn't finished. (See below) Clicking try again is doing the same: display the download window and get the same message back. Not sure if this is a bug but it is hanging up on file download due to closing the main window before finishing the download. However, if I click check for updates it is not updated. Version 6.6.3 it is still available. Clicking update now going in the same loop. Any suggestions?

    Tester license key lost

    Hello, Last year I was a tester of PDF Element 6 Pro and I got a license key. I've lost my key due to a hard disk failure. I have contacted support to recover it but unfortunately, they said: " If there is no purchase record, we are not able to retrieve the registration code because there is no order record for it. " Can I get my license key, please? I really miss the PDF element Pro features. Thanks, Adrian

    Create signature on esign.wondershare.com failed

    I tried to create a signature. Open a browser and draw my signature on my computer with the mouse. Not really smooth but it is drawing to the signature. Then delete it and write my name. The writing it is working fine. Now, because I want my real signature, I open the esign.wondershare.com on my phone and try to draw my signature with my finger. It is not useable. The panel of the signature it is moving top bottom and the signature is not recorded. Just some dots and lines. (Also, the esign.wondershare.com is not optimized for phones the signature panel not on 100% of my phone) So, I tried on my tablet with a stylet. Same thing. Some dots and lines but not my signature. The signature panel still moving top and bottom and it looks like not detect the finger or the stylus.

    A mobile app is not bad but, my opinion, just optimize the website for mobile devices will do the trick. Some CSS queries and js and all it is done. Thanks for the answer.
