  1. I recently purchased PDFelementPro-7 and was bitterly disappointed to see that I cannot do duplex printing (printing on both sides of the paper, manually) with this "upgrade". Then I went back to my PDFelementPro-6 which did have the duplex capability, only to find that when I installed Version 7 I apparently also changed Version 6 to be lacking the duplex printing capability. That was even more disappointing. When I "asked" about the problem via support (that, incidentally, is a miserable way to get support) I was told that PDFelement does not support duplex printing. That must be recent because my older Version 6 supports it nicely. Is anyone else really upset about what appears to be an "upgrade" that is actually a "downgrade"? Is Wondershare planning to restore duplex printing capability? When?
  2. When printing multiple pages, if one checks the "Print on both sides (Manually) button under "Finishing" duplex printing works fine, BUT after finishing the printing and exiting PDFpro, the box stays checked, and all printing, in all applications on that computer, is duplex until one reopens PDFpro and unchecks the button manually. Single page printing should be default, and the program should revert to the default upon closing. It should not require manual unchecking of the duplex printing button to revert to the more usual state of single page printing. Have raised this problem before, and have been promised remedy, but nothing appears to be happening.
  3. When I choose to print "on both sides of the page" manually, not only does the program continue to do that on subsequent documents but any printing I do, even on other programs, is duplex until I go into PDF Element and manually uncheck the "print on both sides" checkbox. This is a real pain! The program should automatically revert to single-side printing when a new document is brought up or the program is closed.
  4. That's interesting. I never found that problem with Acrobat. Regardless, must PDFelement blindly follow Acrobat? It would be a great service to figure out how to change this particular bug and have the program NOT change the printer default settings when duplex printing is employed. What are the plans to accomplish this?
  5. There are many times that I would like to have two or more pdfElement windows open simultaneously so I can refer back and forth between them, but when I open a second window, the first disappears. Is there some way to allow multiple windows in pdfElement to be open simultaneously?

    Print on both sides (manually)

When I go to "print on both sides (manually)" through printer properties, the selection remains "print on both sides for all programs (not only pdf Element but MS Word, Excel, Quicken, etc.) until I manually change it back by unchecking that option. This is annoying and inconvenient, since most printing is only on one side. Is there some way to have this feature automatically revert to printing on one side of the page once pdfElement is closed?

Thanks, Daphne. I'll look forward to the update.

    Print on both sides (manually)

Daphne, I appreciated your answer, but when I went to "printing preferences" and checked, I found it was set for single side printing (which is the setting I use most often). When I want to print on both sides (manually) I check that in Wondershare's print dialog window. But, once I do that, any printing that I initiate will be "both sides, manual" unless I go back into Wondershare's print dialog box and uncheck the "both sides manual" box. And, not only does the "both sides, manual" setting persist until manually changed for Wondershare, but it persists for MS Word, MS Excel, Quicken and any other program I print from. Your principal competitor doesn't do this: printing instruction reverts to the instruction in "printing preferences" automatically when one finishes with the document for which one set the "print both sides manual". I wish Wondershare did this also.

    Formet bookmarks to word-wrap??

Can bookmarks be formatted so the text inserted in them will word-wrap? I need to be able to visualize longer lines of text in bookmarks.
