Fillable Text Fields Issues on Ipad

Recommended Posts

I've created a fillable pdf to share with my students on their iPads.  They open the pdf using Adobe Acrobat Reader.  When they enter text into a field, you are able to see the text.  When they tab to another text field, the text that was previously entered disappears.  If they click back on the original text field, the text reappears.  But, only so long as they are working in that text field. When they save or share the pdf after editing it, none of the text that they have entered is visible.  Is this an issue with the pdfelement fillable pdf, adobe or the ipad? Thanks

Hi Shea,

I am afraid that it requires more test/info to diagnose the issue.

Do your students use iOS version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the form file that is created by using PDFelement 6 Pro?

Maybe you can advise your students to download the iOS version of DPFelement to see if it works. BTW, the iOS version of PDFelement is totally free.

Let me know if you find out more.
