re: pdfelements pro 6

We are scanning and performing OCR on a lot of poems and essays that we are laying out for a book.  Your software seems  intent on placing all the text on the page just like it appears in the original document which ends up giving us all kinds of paragraph breaks and odd-ball line return characters, as well as text boxes and other annoying elements, some of which are almost impossible to remove from the document.  It then requires a huge amount of time on our part to try to remove all of this.  How can we tell your software not to include all of this formatting when it performs OCR?  We'd be fine with just spaces between words and maybe a paragraph break at the en of paragraphs, not at the end of every line.

This happens to varying degrees depending on whether we choose txt or rtf or one of the word processors on your list.  We cannot find anything in preferences that lets us tell the software how we want output formatted.

Please help.  This is driving us crazy.

Thanks,

--Kenoli

Hi Kenoli,

Sorry for the delayed response due to the holiday.

Could you please let me know if this issue occurs to one certain file or all kinds of files you tried?

If it occurs to certain file, I would appreciate if you can send me that file for further test and analysis.

Thanks and best,
