Add "Save As" to options in Shortcut Bar (top)

Question

Posted (edited)

It would be very helpful to have a "Save As" option in the configurable Shortcut Bar (top of the window).

Consider the following scenario:

  • Down load a pdf document from the web, for example a Credit Card Statement.
  • By default, Windows will place this file in a temporary folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp
  • When the file opens in PDFelement, you may want to save the file in a permanent location, where you save such Credit Card Statements.
  • Currently it is necessary to open the file window and select the location.
  • As an alternative, having a Save As icon on the top line, would allow a faster way to opening the Open window to select the save location. If you are doing a set of similar actions, this window will open in the correct path (or you can navigate to it).

I have attached a screen print of my suggestion  Add Save As to top bar 03-13-19.pdf
