UNICODE problems with cut and paste

Recommended Posts

Guest MBDick

I use PDFelement in my Endnote so I can store the article as well as it bibliographical information. Many of my PDFs involve foreign characters so I need  to display unicode. Now these files display correctly in my PDF vers. 7 professional. I cannot do OCR because my languages are not on that list (by a couple of millennia) and I do not need to search the PDF. However, when I try to copy a section on the PDF and drop it into Word, the unicode letters appear as gibberish. I have even tried to convert whole PDF file to Word (latest PC version) it doesn't help. It can take me a hour to correct a page of the gibberish. Could it have to do with the font used in Word? It could have to have Unicode such as Times New Roman or Arial.

For your case, can you send us the screenshot of the problem page so that we check what's happening here?
It will be highly appreciated if you also send us your original file and we will test on our side.
