Pdf Element 6 Ocr plugin not installing

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Pdf Element Pro 6 from version 5. When i tried to ocr a document, a warning window told me to download and install Ocr plugin. I downloaded without any problem but when tried to install i  got an error message as shown in the attachment. This happened more than 5 times, each time i attempted to install it. Any recommendations?

Thanks. That worked for me. Uninstall software - reboot pc - reinstall software

The reason for this issue is that your OCR package is corrupted, so you need to clear your cache file in %temp% directory.

Uninstall and reinstall can also solve this issue.

Hi John Hacker,

Could you show more information about your issue just like screenshot? The app crashed when OCR downloading or downloaded?

Thank you for your feedback!

Hi John Hacker,

We are very sorry about the crash issue and will try our best to solve it. Does the crash happen at startup every time?

Yes  every thing at start up.  The only way it works is to reinstall the app

Thanks.

After reinstall the app, Is the crash issue still exist? Or if you reboot macOS again, the crash happens again?
